This year's lectures from the San Francisco Opera Guild are co-sponsored by the SJOG and the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center (APJCC), usually on Wednesday mornings at 10am, at the APJCC. The Guild was established in 1947, as an independent guild, to support Opera in the Bay Area. The Guild has taken the opportunity to support several opera companies, with an emphasis on education and a passion for young singers. We support:

• Starting Arts
During the opera season, the Guild sponsors San Francisco Opera Guild lecturers plus West Bay Opera and Opera San José previews featuring singers coinciding with the yearly offerings.
The Guild presents an annual Champagne Brunch fundraiser in the spring to increase our ability to make contibutions to opera programs in the Bay Area. To help the Guild with its mission, please consider joining or attending our fundraiser.
